Associate Therapist for Residential SUD program | Full-Time | W2 | Full Benefits | $90-$110K Base

Support a caseload of 6-12 men in recovery from substance use and broad mental health disorders. Meet with each client individually once per week and lead two groups per week. Support family sessions which occur every Saturday. 

  • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based practices to support clients in their recovery journey.
  • Perform comprehensive assessments to develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with the clinical team.
  • Provide immediate support and intervention during crisis situations, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients.
  • Coordinate with other healthcare providers, case managers, and family members to ensure comprehensive care and continuity of treatment.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
  • Educate clients and their families about addiction, mental health, and recovery strategies to enhance understanding and engagement in the treatment process.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss client progress, challenges, and treatment adjustments.
  • Adhere to all legal, ethical, and regulatory standards related to clinical practice and patient care.

Requirements:
- Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field
- Registered associate number with the CA BBS: AMFT, ACSW, APCC
- Experience working with SUD treatment in a residential or IOP setting
