Sheet Metal Journeyman

We are searching for highly experienced, self-motivated commercial Sheetmetal/HVAC journeyman to join our team of professionals. Individuals must have graduated from an in-state, DAS-approved apprenticeship program, or an out-of-state federally approved apprenticeship program. Must have a team player attitude with excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work in fast paced environments.

Job Purpose

Sheet metal/HVAC Journeyman Installer will be responsible for performing the removal, installation and start – up of HVAC equipment in Commercial/Public Works projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Ability to read and follow HVAC mechanical plans and specs.

· Install duct work systems in commercial facilities.

· Install, operate, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems, combustion equipment and industrial air compressors.

· Installing and fabricating duct work and cold boxes the use of hand and power tools and benders.

· Ensure that safety is paramount on all jobsites.

· Maintain workflow schedule to ensure productivity.

· Perform other reasonable tasks that may be requested by the Company.

Qualifications

· 5+ years of experience in commercial Sheet Metal/HVAC installation.

· Graduation Certificate from a DAS-approved apprenticeship program.

· Able to lift 50-75lbs and handle physical workload.

· Clean driving record and ability to pass background and drug screening.

Day shift
Evening shift (SWING SHIFT)
Monday to Friday
Weekend availability
