Creative Financial Staffing has partnered with a privately-owned residential construction company. They are looking to add a Staff Accountant to the team and will move quickly for the right candidate.

Highlights of the Staff Accountant Opportunity:

  • Reporting directly to the Controller, the Staff Accountant will have strong mentorship while learning all aspects of the accounting functions of the Company.

The Staff Accountant’s responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Reconcile and maintain general ledgers
  • Post monthly journal entries
  • Assist with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable as needed
  • Provide assistance with month-end close processes
  • Calculate and track sales rebates and employee commissions
  • Assist with audit needs and schedules
  • Other tasks and duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications for the Staff Accountant:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • 1+ years general ledger experience (may consider recent graduates)
  • Able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
