Job Title: Fabrication Manager (Turret Press) 

Specific Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Specify and manage material needs for manufacturing components.
  • Collaborate with purchasing to maintain adequate material inventory.
  • Directly oversee manufacturing capacity and efficiency, providing regular progress reports.
  • Plan and manage workload across all fabrication processes and shifts.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in manufacturing processes and component fabrication.
  • Establish and lead teams to implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Train and instruct operators on job duties and best practices.
  • Utilize software to streamline processes and program CNC turret and laser manufacturing.
  • Contribute to specifications for product designs, features, and benefits.
  • Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and products required for fabrication processes.
  • Support business operations with additional tasks as needed.
  • Maintain and enhance customer relationships through superior responsiveness and innovative design development.

Experience:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of all areas of fabrication, including Turret Press Brake Press, Laser Cut, Deburr, etc.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience operating CNC turret presses; experience in programming CNC turret presses preferred.
