Join Our Manufacturing Team
Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our size reduction equipment production team. You will be responsible for assembling components and subassemblies according to blueprints and specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble mechanical components and subassemblies following blueprints and work instructions.
- Test and troubleshoot assemblies.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and perform basic wiring.
- Operate sit-down forklift as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures.
- Brazing, welding, or soldering experience preferred but not required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year of experience in mechanical assembly.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Forklift experience preferred.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
Work Environment:
- Manufacturing environment with moderate noise levels.
Compensation & Schedule:
- Pay rate: $18 - $20 per hour
- Shift: 1st
