Our client is seeking a dedicated and versatile individual to join household as a part time Housekeeper / Cook. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized home and preparing nutritious meals using the organic vegetables grown on the property. This is a part-time position that requires a proactive, reliable, and caring individual who can manage multiple responsibilities efficiently, run household schedule, keep house in order, shopping and meal prep.

Responsibilities

Housekeeping:

  • Perform general cleaning duties, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and polishing.
  • Handle laundry, including washing, drying, ironing, and folding clothes and linens.
  • Organize and maintain household supplies, groceries, and equipment.
  • Make beds and change linens as needed.
  • Run errands such as grocery shopping and dry-cleaning pick-ups.
  • Report any necessary repairs or replacements.

Cooking:

  • Prepare healthy & balanced meals.
  • Cater to any dietary restrictions or preferences.
  • Cook using organic food from the on-site garden.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including proper storage of food items.

Requirements

  • Proven professional experience as a housekeeper and cook.
  • Strong organizational, scheduling, calendar, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to manage time efficiently and work independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of cleaning supplies, equipment, and best practices.
  • Ability to prepare a variety of nutritious meals using food grown in garden.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
