Lawn Care Technician (Pesticide license preferred)

Palatine is a growing locally owned company looking for a lawn technician to join our team

Starting 2024 Season.

We are looking for candidates with the following background and skills

  • Fertilizer and weed applications
  • Keeps accurate treatment records
  • Looks for and pursues sales opportunities
  • Helps customers understand services provided
  • Responds promptly to requests from office
  • Securely and safely maintains service vehicle, equipment, and materials
  • Actively participates in learning opportunities
  • Able to work independently on various projects assigned
  • Able to lift 50lbs bags

*** Candidates with knowledge and a Connecticut Operators License will be highly considered and compensated accordingly ***'

Typical end time:

  • 5PM

Typical start time:

  • 7AM

This Job Is:

Salary: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Experience:

  • Commercial Fertilizer Application: 1 year (Required)
  • Driving with Trailer: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Z Turn equipment: 1 year (Required)
