Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking a Local Class A CDL Driver that is home every day to join our team You will be responsible for safely operating a truck & 53' dry van trailer with a capacity of at least 32,000 to 60,000 (GVW).

Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a heavy or tractor-trailer truck
  • Experience backing & hauling with 53' Dry Van trailers
  • Drop & Hook, Live Load & Live Unload- No Touch Freight
  • Properly track and document activity log
  • Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
  • Document Inspect truck before and after trip
  • Complete documentation for each trip
  • Keep truck in clean & in good working order.
  • Be able to follow FMCSA Driver Responsibilities
  • Must have own transportation to & from work location.
  • Truck Must Stay at the Yard at the end of the day.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in truck driving
  • Commercial driver's license class A with manual transmission
  • MUST HAVE: Clean MVR with a minimum of 2+ yrs. CDL-A driving & work history
  • Ability to handle physical workload
  • Speak, Read & Write English
  • Experience with Logs
  • Must be able to work early morning hours with flexibility.
  • Strong work ethic
  • MUST HAVE: Manual Transmission
  • MUST PASS DRUG SCREEN
