Who we are:

At Giammichele Law APC, we are a boutique law firm that specializes in trust, estate, and family law matters. We are currently looking to add additional paralegals to our team. This is a permanent full-time position with potential for hybrid work.

This role is perfect for someone who has strong people skills, a keen attention to detail, and is passionate about growing in the legal field with a team that is knowledgeable, high achieving, and fun.

Key Responsibilities:

· Handle initial client contacts, incoming calls, scheduling consultations, preparing and collecting client intake forms, calendaring hearings, managing email correspondence, hearing/trial preparation, responding to opposing counsel demands and coordinating court appearances;

· Prepare standard judicial council forms as well as other legal documents, such as notices, declarations, disclosures, memorandums of points and authorities, subpoenas, trial binders, etc.

· Provide assistance in the preparation of discovery and responding to discovery;

· Filing and arranging for service of process;

· Perform additional legal and administrative tasks on an as needed basis.

Our ideal candidate will have:

· ABA-Accredited Paralegal Certification;

· Bachelor’s degree preferred;

· Strong communication skills with experience in a client/customer facing role;

· Experience in either family law or probate law is not required but is beneficial;

· Knowledge of county/state court rules, calendaring, and legal document formatting guidelines;

· Strong research, writing, analytical and organizational skills;

· Excellent planning, prioritization, and time management skills;

Compensation is based upon experience and qualifications.

Starting Compensation Range: $25.00-33.00 per hour
