2nd Shift - around 2pm-11pm

3rd shift - around 11pm - 7am

Weekend work is often for this role. 

Job Summary:

Ensure the efficient operation of the plating line for production, adhering to work instructions, policies, procedures, safe work practices, and supervisor directions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Verify and document amperage settings, report any issues.
  • Monitor plating lines for malfunctions or conditions affecting plating quality.
  • Verify and document temperature readings.
  • Maintain hoists, including operation, transfer locations, prox switches, light curtains, distance sensors, and E-stops.
  • Perform tank maintenance: rinsing, filling, and topping off tanks.
  • Conduct rack maintenance as required.
  • Carry out additional duties with similar responsibilities as assigned.

EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 0-1 years of experience.
  • Ability to self-manage.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

  • Ability to stand/walk for the duration of the shift (8+ hours).
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs unassisted.
  • Ability to perform frequent repetitive motions.
  • Ability to work in a noisy environment.
  • Ability to work at heights inside the facility.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

  • No significant travel required.
