CAD Drafter

Labor Solutions is seeking CAD Drafters to create detailed prints that are utilized in the manufacturing of products. These detailed technical drawings incorporate the input of engineers, architects, and surveyors and can specify dimensions, codes, materials, and production methods.
Hours: 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (30 minutes for lunch).
Pay: $22-23/hr. (Depending on experience.)
Responsibilities:
- Prepare drawings using computer aided design tools of systems, parts or equipment from sketches or marked-up prints.
- Consistently meet work deadlines while producing high quality work results and products.
- Recognize discrepancies or errors and seek out alternative solutions for obstacles encountered.
- Order material, hardware, and other parts that are needed to complete the project.
- Create programs for laser, waterjet, and other workstations in the shop.
- Demonstrate attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and communication skills.
Qualifications:
- Experience in SolidWorks, AutoCAD.
- Basic knowledge in Excel and Outlook.
Education & Experience:
- 2-year degree in CAD Technology
- Some on-site training
