Daytime Bartender

The Bellefonte cafe is looking for talented and amazing waitstaff We are currently on the lookout for experienced bartenders and servers to fill our open positions in the quaint town of Bellefonte DE.

The Bellefonte Cafe has been a landmark in the community for 20 years. The funky-cool-ecletic vibe is one to remember and creates a unique dining vibe with live music virtually every night

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining area
- Monitor customer behavior and ensure responsible alcohol service
- Handle cash transactions and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient service
- Assist in inventory management and restocking supplies

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in bartending or a related role preferred
- Knowledge of sales techniques and customer service principles
- Familiarity different types of beverages
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating drink prices
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Understanding of hospitality industry standards and practices
