Job Type: Part-Time with potential to go Full-Time: Physical Therapist

Work Location: Assited living facility 

CIP Rehabilitation Inc is one of the fastest-growing outpatient therapy practices in Northeastern PA. We provide therapy services and are the preferred therapy provider in multiple assisted living facilities and personal care homes throughout NEPA. We also provide our therapy services in senior apartments and patients’ residential homes. Providing quality - evidence-based therapy services is what CIP Rehab strives for with every single patient. We are looking for a committed skilled Physical Therapist to act as the patient’s partner throughout the trip of restoring motion and ensuring that the client will function at their personal best. You will maximize the quality of life and movement potential through promotion, prevention, diagnosis, treatment or intervention, and rehabilitation. CIP rehab is a place where team members and patients become family.

The compensation will be discussed during the interview process.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and meet patients’ goals and needs
  • Offer effective treatment interventions that help improve clients’ strength, ROM, endurance, balance/coordination, ambulation/mobility
  • Develop care plans using a variety of treatment techniques
  • Create fitness- and wellness-oriented programs tailored to patients’ specific needs
  • Provide quality, personalized, and evidence-based care and proven interventions
  • Motivate patients during treatment to help them function optimally
  • Promote clients’ healthy lifestyles by improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination
  • Consult and practice with other health professionals and facilities
  • Evaluate effects and monitor and communicate progress
  • Document patient care services

Qualifications

  • Valid/active license to practice Physical therapy in Pennsylvania (Required)
  • Meet all educational requirements as defined by the PA state (Required)
  • Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities
  • Practices professional behavior
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent documentation skills

Supplemental pay types:

  • Bonus pay

Education:

  • Doctorate (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Physical Therapists: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • Physical Therapy License (Required)
  • CPR Certification (Preferred)
