Duncan-Parnell is growing and looking to add a Print Production & Install Associate in our Raleigh NC office. This role is a critical position supporting both operations and customers in our Signs & Graphics division.

Job Summary

The Print Production & Install Associate is responsible for handling all aspects of the production process for a wide range of signage products. This role demands a high level of precision and efficiency in production, assembly, fulfillment, installation, and inventory management, along with maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the shop.

Essential Functions and Duties

  • Production & assembly
    • Assemble and prepare final products for installation or delivery, ensuring accuracy and quality.
    • Prioritize orders for finishing / production.
    • Operate various printing and production equipment to produce high-quality sign products.
      • Laminator, table saw, hand tools, etc.
  • Quality Control
    1. Conduct quality checks throughout the production process to ensure all products meet company standards and client specifications.
    2. Ensure there are 2 Quality Control (QC) signoffs on every job.
    3. Address and resolve any issues that arise during production.
  • Shop Maintenance
    1. Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work environment to ensure printers and devices maintain operational status.
    2. Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Fulfillment & Shipping
    • Manage the packing and shipping/delivery of final products, ensuring they are securely and efficiently prepared for delivery, including scheduling, assisting w/ loading freight orders as needed.
    • Coordinate with Project Coordinators on pick up times, size/weight for scheduling LTL orders.
    • Coordinate with the sales team and clients to confirm delivery schedules and requirements.
  • Inventory Management
    • Maintain accurate inventory records of materials and supplies.
    • Order and restock materials as needed, ensuring the availability of necessary items for production.
    • Receive, verify, and stock incoming material shipments and deliveries from outside vendors.
  • Collaboration & Communication
    • Work closely with other team members and departments to ensure smooth operation and timely completion of projects.
    • Communicate effectively with team members regarding production schedules, deadlines, and any challenges.
  • Installation
    • Perform pre-installation and finishing work to prepare orders for installation.
      • Includes: painting posts, adding hardware, weeding, masking, building sign frames, adding adhesive on ADA, etc.
    • Perform on-site or location-based installations with guidance from lead installer.
      • Banners, Exterior Signs with Posts (4x8; V-Signs, Small Parking Signs, etc.)
      • Interior Signage (acrylics, wayfinding signs, impact logos)
    • Installation services will require occasional use of a lift (scissor lift, boom lift)
    • Speak to customer on-site and represent Duncan-Parnell professionally while in the field
  • Follow Standard operating procedures (SOP’s) and job protocols
  • Additional duties as needed

Requirements

  • High school graduate
  • Graphic Design experience is a plus
  • Previous signs and graphics experience
