Responsibilities

  • Recognize and pursue networking opportunities for leads
  • Listen and identify concerns to match best solution to customers needs
  • Demonstrate technical expertise to develop credibility, loyalty, trust and commitment
  • Understand and leverage the sales process checkpoints
  • Solve practical problems and carry out responsibilities with minimal supervision
  • Achieve monthly sales and growth targets
  • Collaborate with sales manager to create and implement account plans
  • Respond to all customer inquiries and/or concerns promptly and efficiently
  • Appropriate mix of new business sales and sales to current customers
  • Generate sales opportunities through cold calling and prompt follow-up of leads, proposals and other opportunities
  • Demonstrate Peak products at shows, conferences and seminars as needed
  • Attend meetings and training sessions to build product knowledge and sales skills
  • Provide quantitative and qualitative feedback to manager on successes and opportunities
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in business management or a related field; or
  • 2 to 3 years of sales experience
  • Proficient or ability to quickly learn Microsoft Office software and other systems
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent negotiation and time management skills
  • Strong customer service skills with ability to interact with all levels and across diverse cultures
  • Comfortable presenting information to both one-on-one and group audiences
  • Ability to adapt as the external environment and organization evolves
  • Ability to work as a team and independently
