Responsibilities:
- Operate Zamboni ice resurfacing machines to maintain smooth and clean ice surfaces.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on Zamboni machines to ensure proper functioning.
- Monitor ice conditions and make adjustments to the resurfacing process as needed.
- Remove snow and ice buildup from the rink surface using specialized equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the ice resurfacing area and equipment storage areas.
- Collaborate with facility management to schedule ice resurfacing times to minimize disruption to activities.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries during ice maintenance operations.
- Assist with general facility maintenance tasks as needed, including but not limited to, ice painting, board maintenance, and equipment repairs.
