Part-Time Auto Claims Adjuster

Position Overview: We are looking for a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Auto Claims Adjuster to join our team on a part-time remote basis with flexible hours. The ideal candidate will have experience in processing auto diminished value insurance claims for insurance carriers. This position offers the opportunity to work remotely and contribute to our mission of providing timely and accurate claims resolution to policy holders while maintaining the highest standards of customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate diminished value claims to determine viability. Review policies, limits, and confirm coverage.
- Complete claim files for submission includes gathering necessary documentation for each claim.
- Review/assess the diminished value appraisal report for accuracy.
- Communicate with policy holders to gather necessary information and explain the claims process.
- Negotiate settlements with carriers. Be available to call and email follow ups.
- Provide clear and concise written and verbal communication regarding claim decisions and settlement offers.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date claim files and documentation in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other members of the claims team and external partners to resolve complex or disputed claims effectively.
Qualifications:
- Minimum one year of auto claims desk adjustment experience working for an insurance carrier.
- Must have experience handling diminished value claims with attorneys, auto appraisers, and/or auto loss consultants.
- Proficiency in using claims management software and other relevant computer programs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex information and make sound decisions.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness in claim assessments and documentation.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
