Logistics Coordinator

Payrate range: $22 - $23 per hour

Mandarin/English bilingual is required

Horizon Tire was started in 2004 and has rapidly become one of North America’s largest and most well-known private brand marketers and distributors of tires and tire-related products. Horizon has offices and warehouses in Los Angeles, Houston, Memphis, and Qindao, China. We source our products from China, Southeast Asia, and Eastern Europe.

Payrate range: $22 - $23 per hour

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Negotiate & maintain freight contracts- mainly domestic- Truckload, LTL, Rail.

· Obtain freight quotes in both domestic on an as-needed basis.

· Handles all freight issues for the company: billing discrepancies, and dispute charges, etc.

· Work with the Sales Department to provide information related to transportation outbound a as needed such as pallet configuration, the cost for LTL, FTL, Intermodal, and transit time.

· Manage and coordinate various Logistics tasks, such as reviewing and processing customer orders, coordinating and ensuring prompt and proper movements of shipments are scheduled and shipped on time. Manage documentation flow.

Requirements:

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills highly preferred

· Good written and verbal communication skills

· Excellent time management skills

· Strong logical skills, provide solutions to unique challenges

· Multi-task and strong attention to detail

· Mandarin/English bilingual is required
