Job Title: Commercial Carpenter

Summary: As a Commercial Carpenter, you'll interpret blueprints and plans to construct, install, and repair wood structures and fixtures for commercial projects. You'll utilize various tools to measure, cut, and assemble wood components with precision, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Interpret blueprints for commercial projects.
  • Construct, install, and repair wood structures and fixtures.
  • Select and prepare materials to meet project requirements.
  • Use hand and power tools for precise measurements and cuts.
  • Install and fit wood products accurately on-site.
  • Apply finishes and perform refinishing as needed.
  • Conduct repairs and maintenance as required.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in commercial carpentry.
  • Proficiency in blueprint interpretation.
  • Strong carpentry skills and knowledge of tools and materials.
  • Attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
  • Physical stamina and ability to work at heights.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols in commercial settings.

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of carpentry apprenticeship or vocational training preferred.
  • Relevant certifications/licenses may be required.

Working Conditions:

  • Work on commercial construction sites in the Cleveland Metro Area.
  • May involve lifting heavy materials and working at heights.
  • Flexible hours to meet project deadlines.
