Job Summary:

Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Graphic Design Technician to join their production team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in graphic design and production, looking to apply their expertise in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The technician will be responsible for creating high-quality designs and overseeing various production tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Design Creation: Develop engaging designs for signs, banners, and other visual materials.

·         Production Oversight: Manage the production process, including preparing files for print, operating graphic plotters, and ensuring quality control.

·         Installation Supervision: Oversee the installation of signs, including working on ladders and scaffolding.

·         Material Management: Handle vinyl material, paint, adhesives, and solvents.

 

·         Workspace Maintenance: Ensure the workspace is clean and organized, including cleaning floors, equipment, break room, and emptying trash as needed.

Job Requirements:

·         Experience: Proven experience in graphic design and production.

·         Software Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of graphic design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.

·         Physical Ability: Regularly move objects up to 60 pounds.

·         Tool Proficiency: Ability to proficiently use power tools, panel saw, drills, cutting tools, X-Acto knives, razor blades, and other shop equipment.

·         Mobility: Comfortably move on ladders and scaffolding.

·         Driving Skills: Ability to drive a standard transmission vehicle.

·         Environment Adaptability: Work in both indoor and outdoor environments.

·         Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety instructions and maintain a drug-free workplace.
