Job DescriptionJob Description

Civil Designer

Presidio Engineering is seeking a qualified, full-time Civil Engineering Designer with extensive land development experience.  Survey background a plus. 

The Civil Designer’s duties will include:

·       Lot layout and Site Plan design/setup.

·       Preliminary and Final Plat setup.

·       Site grading (mass and final) design.

·       Roadway design including signing and striping.

·       Public/Private water and sewer extension design.

·       Produce quantities and cost estimates.

·       Interaction with agency reviewers and field personnel.

·       Coordinate and delegate drafting production to other team members.

 

Desired skills and qualifications include, but may not be limited to:

·       Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office applications.

·       Knowledge of local jurisdiction codes, standards and specifications.

·       Must be detailed oriented and organized with strong communication skills.

·       Ability to meet deadlines and work with minimal supervision.

·       Be a quality team player.
