We are seeking a Medical Receptionist with a professional manner, excellent communication skills and a great work ethic to join our private practice. Responsibilities will include answering phones, scheduling appointments, checking patients in and out, collecting and posting payments, obtaining Pre-Certs, and scheduling tests. Flexible to hiring full time or part time.  Competitive Salary.

Medical Receptionist Duties and Responsibilities

  • Answer phones promptly in a courteous manner and assist patients with their inquiries as needed
  • Schedule patient appointments
  • Check patients in and out
  • Collect and post co-pays and balances
  • Maintain updated insurance information and patient records
  • Obtain pre-certs and schedule tests
  • Respond to office emails

Medical Receptionist Requirements and Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 yr experience working in a medical setting
  • Good computer skills, and experience with EMR preferred
  • Ability to comfortably multitask and be a team player
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • Professional demeanor
