Sales Consultant - The Hearth Doctor (Full-Time or Part-Time)

Are you passionate about helping homeowners create cozy, inviting living spaces? The Hearth Doctor, a leading provider of fireplaces, stoves, and hearth products, is seeking an enthusiastic Sales Consultant to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and guiding clients through the selection, purchase, and installation process for our high-quality wood, gas, and pellet stoves and fireplace systems. Your primary duties will include:

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcoming and engaging customers in our showroom locations
• Conducting needs assessments to understand client requirements and preferences
• Presenting and demonstrating our product offerings to highlight features and benefits
• Providing detailed information on product specifications, sizing, installation, and pricing
• Assisting customers with placing orders and coordinating delivery/installation
• Maintaining up-to-date product knowledge through continuous training
• Building strong relationships with customers and following up on their inquiries
• Achieving individual and team sales goals through consultative selling techniques

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of previous sales or customer service experience, preferably in the home improvement or hearth products industry
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to listen and interact effectively with diverse clients
• Technical aptitude to understand the functionality and installation requirements of fireplaces, stoves, and related equipment
• Passion for home design, interior decor, and creating cozy living spaces
• Basic computer skills for order processing and inventory management
