Commercial HVAC Service Technician Wanted - San Diego 

     Couts Heating and Cooling is looking for a skilled Technician to lead a San Diego service team. We are looking for an independent, self-motivated, experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician with a minimum of 5 years’ experience to become part of our growing team.

Job Description
Our technicians work primarily on commercial accounts consisting of various rooftop units, split systems, furnaces, boilers, chillers, cooling towers, makeup air units and more.

Preferred abilities.

• Startup, diagnose, and maintain per manufacturers specs, various rooftop units, Centrifugal Chillers, Air Cooled Chillers, Refrigeration, Boilers, VRF Systems, DX Splits, Variable Frequency Drives, Boilers, Cooling Towers, Exhaust & Supply Fans.
• Experience with VAV, VVT, Multi-zone buildings.
• Knowledge of specialized computer room equipment.
• Familiarity with EMS systems.
• Perform routine maintenance.
• Participate in the “On Call” rotation.
• Respond to emergency service requests.

Required Qualifications.

• 5+ years of HVAC Service Technician Experience.
• High school diploma or its equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Service hand tools.
• Demonstrate advanced customer service skills and have the ability to communicate ideas and provide explanations of problems to customers and coworkers.
• Strong diagnostic abilities.
• Clean appearance.
• Clean driving record.
• EPA Universal Certification.
• Must pass “Live Scan” to work on Schools, Hospitals, and Public Works Projects.
• Ability to join our local Southern California Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Union, Local 230.
