Are you a dedicated pharmacist looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting 13+ week assignment available for a pharmacist to join our team on the 2nd shift (4:00pm-12:00am) at a dynamic retail and compounding pharmacy in Fairfield, Ohio.

Position Details:

  • Shift: 2nd Shift (Monday to Friday)
  • Hours: 4:00pm - 12:00am

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise pharmacy technicians and data entry staff to ensure accurate data entry, efficient workflow, and adherence to security protocols.
  • Manage and oversee the ordering and prepacking processes handled by pharmacy technicians.
  • Review new medication orders for proper dosage, potential drug interactions, allergies, and contraindications before dispensing.
  • Assist with the ordering, handling, receiving, documentation, and storage of controlled substances, and help maintain accurate inventory records for Schedule II drugs.

Requirements:

  • Active and clear pharmacist license in Ohio
  • Experience in high-volume or compounding pharmacy settings is advantageous
