Job Description

We are looking for a committed and hardworking person to become part of our team in the role of Inventory Control Specialist. Key duties involve assisting with various warehouse functions such as shipping and receiving, monitoring inventory levels, ensuring quality control, managing orders for consumable items, handling RMAs, overseeing other inventory logistics, providing customer service, and fulfilling general administrative tasks as required.

This person must exhibit confident communication abilities to assist staff with inventory systems and optimal methods. Possess proficient problem-solving skills; creating, validating, and offering guidance on updates to procedures, policies, and job roles to improve processes as needed

Hours- 7:30-4 pm Monday- Friday

Job Duties:

  • Accurately receive and label products
  • Efficiently and accurately organize and stage products for projects
  • Monitor inventory levels and implement effective inventory control measures
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure accurate inventory management
  • Prepare and process return authorizations for shipment
  • Monitors RMA process for completion and documentation
  • Establish goals and directives as it relates to inventory accuracy, error awareness, location management, loss prevention, and quality control
  • Clean and maintain a safe work environment
  • Perform Monthly inventory counts and submit reports
  • Communicate with vendors as necessary
  • Administrative tasks as requested
  • Deliver equipment to jobsite as needed
  • Client communication as needed

 

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma/GED
  • 1-to-3-years related experience in inventory handling or control etc
  • Proficient computer skills are a must, with an emphasis working with Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Solid understanding of Receiving and Shipping functions
  • Detail oriented with highly developed management, organizational and interaction skills
  • Ability to lift over 50 lbs. independently
  • Ability to work independently and as a team
  • Appropriate time management and prioritization
