Job Title:           Laminator/Assembler

Duration:           06 Months Temp To Perm

Location:           Belton, TX 76513

Shift:                  6am to 4:30pm 10-hour shifts

 

***EDUCATION: MINIMUM HIGH SCHOOL OR GED***

 

WORK HOURS:

Normal work week is Monday-Thursday, 10 hours per day, 6am - 430pm.

Overtime is mandatory.

Friday and Saturday, 8 hours per day. 6am - 230pm

 

We provide employees with N95 dust masks,

And when required 3M 6500QL Series respirators.

 

This is not a climate controlled facility, the temps will work in the elements of the weather.

The Laminator/Assembler I will be an important part of a skilled manufacturing team that builds fiberglass tanks and accessories.

 

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Operates equipment needed to perform job

- Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition

- Completes tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision

- Utilize safe work habits

- Wear appropriate PPE

- Comply with all Company policies, guidelines, and procedures.

- Comply with all HSE policies, guidelines, and procedures.

- Comply with all Quality policies, guidelines and procedures.

- Cut hand lay-up glass to proper sizes

- Assist in assembly and fabrication of finished products

- Assist in fabricating, preparing and installing fittings and other component parts

- Repairs product defects (including, but not limited to, grinding, patching, etc.) as marked by appropriate personnel

- Visually inspects, take measurements and other process checks and notifies appropriate personnel of off-quality material

- Observe and assist co-worker in the inside lay-up of tanks

- Mix resin and catalyst according to conditions to ensure proper laminate cures

- Saturate fiberglass mat and woven roving

- Check, clean, change and perform minor maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure application efficiencies

- Assist in the application of rib forms and formation of rib channel

- Roll out shells, end caps, panels and accessories

- Operate equipment, power tools, assembly jigs and material handling equipment (including, but not limited to, band saws, drill press, cut-off saws, etc.)

- Participate in the safety and good housekeeping programs as established within the plant

- Performs other related duties consistent with the nature of the job as directed by the supervisor
