Philco Building Maintenance is currently seeking an Electrician

We are based out of Concord, but we manage 60+ commercial properties located in Contra Costa, Alameda and Solano counties.

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoots, repairs and maintains electrical systems
  • Installs, troubleshoots and repairs new equipment and systems, including all property lights and programmable lighting controls.
  • Responds to routine and emergency calls for repairs and service.
  • Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
  • Check and repair indoor and outdoor lighting.
  • Complete minor and major electrical repairs.
  • Change out ballast in all types of lighting; High Pressure Sodium, Medal Halide and Fluorescent.
  • Installation of electrical panels, circuits, switches, plugs, breakers, MC cable, EMT conduit, electrical wiring.

​​Qualifications:

  • 4+ years previous electrical experience
  • Familiarity with electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals preferred
  • Familiarity with electrical equipment and hand tools
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills

Requirements:

  • Electrical License
  • A valid state driver's license with a good driving record (no major infractions/ DUI's in last 5 years).
  • Ability to pass a background check and urine drug test.
  • Must have own tools
  • Willingness to travel to various locations
