Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time position with opportunities for career growth and development as our practice expands.
Responsibilities:
Clinical Tasks
- Patient Intake and History
- Assisting During Procedures
- Scribing and Charting
- Patient Education
- Cleaning and Preparing Instruments
Administrative Tasks:
- Scheduling and Confirming Appointments
- Check-In and Check-Out
- Supply Chain Management
- Prior Authorizations
- Answering Calls and Inquiries.
Qualifications:
- Medical Assistant certification from an accredited program (preferred)
- Previous experience in dermatology or a related field (preferred)
- Proficiency in using EHR systems (EMA/ModMed preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Work Schedule:
Full-time, Monday to Friday, 40 hours/week.
Salary and Benefits:
- Hourly rate: $19-24 per hour (rate based on qualifications and experience.)
- Benefits include paid time off, health, dental and vision insurance allowance, 401K, and employee discount
Training and Onboarding:
- Training and onboarding will take place prior to the clinic’s grand opening. As a start up medical practice, on-the-job training and cross-training are expected.
