You will be responsible to lead all community sales activities, developing prospects leads into homebuyers by building relationships and demonstrating the value of owning a Profile home. We are looking for exceptional relationship skills, a penchant for problem solving, and strong closing techniques, these traits will help you achieve and exceed your sales goals.

Position Overview:

This position participates in all aspects of on-site sales including selling the builders vision, providing community and home information to all prospective buyers, and following through from a meet and greet to contract signing and through to settlement.

The ideal candidate will be an energetic self-starter with a passion for sales and real estate. This is a full-time position and weekends are required.

Qualifications:

  • An energic self-starter who enjoys working with people.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills required.
  • Ability to work evening hours as needed with weekends on a regular basis.  
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment within a team-culture attitude required.
  • At least 2 years of commissioned sales experience, preferably in homebuilding industry.
  • Must have reliable transportation to meet established job functions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • High energy level, positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
  • Organized and efficient and able to operate in a self-managed environment.
  • Decisiveness and good judgment, problem solving, and analytical skills

 Primary Responsibilities

  • Utilizes all sales and marketing resources available, to aid in achieving sales and closing goals for the community assigned.
  • Effectively manage sales generation by utilizing corporate marketing materials, model homes, local resources, and realtor relationships.
  • Developing prospects, converting them to purchasers.  Actively participate in traffic driving efforts, including but not limited to: follow-up to previous traffic, coordinating and hosting public and broker events. Initiate prospecting and marketing campaigns to attract new prospects.
  • Promptly meets/greets prospective customers who visit the community, collecting completed registration materials from every customer who visits or solicits information.
  • Tour and demonstrate model homes. Actively tour homes with prospective customers through the various homesites.
  • Sells the benefits of the community, the company, and the quality and design of our homes’ construction and services.
  • Understanding of mortgage financing as it relates to homeownership. Tracking purchaser’s loan process from purchase agreement/ loan application to settlement.
  • Guide purchasers through the buying process, present purchase agreements, and coordinate processes with Closing Coordinator through purchaser’s settlement. Serves as trusted advisor/primary point of contact for home buyer from initial meeting through home closing. Scope may vary during phases of sales process.
  • Community/model home management: Daily drive/walk through community to assure appearance, signage, and inventory homes reflects company standards.
  • Meets with construction personnel regarding issues/status of homes weekly.
  • Market shops the competitors and visits those operating in same geographical areas.  Develops knowledge of competitor policies, programs, pricing, and products, as well as consumer demographics, to better define key differentiators for his/her assigned communities and provides helpful information to management.
  • Manages backlog, maintaining strong lines of communication with customers post-purchase decision. Resolves any issues or problems with customers to keep the purchasing process moving forward.
  • Prepares weekly update reports of prospective customer traffic to management.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent standing, walking (including stairs), and sitting.
  • May require occasional driving of customers from the sales office to community homesites.
  • Environmental conditions vary depending on weather, stage of production, and where work takes place.
