Utility Admin

Position Summary

The Utility Technician is responsible for managing specific yard activities. Primary goals are to ensure that the requirements of the Yard Management group as well as our customer requirements are met.

The Utility Technician reports to the Yard Manager and / or Group Leader and has direct responsibility to lead their location.

Position Responsibilities:

Admin/Utility Responsibilities

· Track office supplies

o Set minimum levels for supplies

· Reconcile Daily Inventory

o Determine what needs VSO’s and Monroney labels

o Check correct status and bay locations

o Run JS VIN numbers through OBT for identification of shippable status. product. ie KZ status.

· Order Monroney Labels

o For units that are shippable and not identified as awaiting shipment or staged for shipment (with a token).

· Print / process Monroney labels

o Ensure the proper bay locations are listed on the VSO’s

o Staple Tokens to the VSO’s

o Identify holds and put hold number on VSO and set aside

o Paper / Token Scan KZ / JB paperwork

o Sort by Bay Location

· Print and Cut Tokens

o Order Tokens in Vascor System

o Store tokens by the printer

· OBT data entry/internal tracking

o Placing/removing units from hold as necessary.

· Audit Out Gates sheets.

o Review vin status in system to ensure vehicles are out-gated properly

· E-mails

o Respond to inquiries

o Send out status updates

· Provide support to our partners that enter the office.

· Reconcile/Correct DQC data

· Damage Sign-off when necessary

· Assisting yard team with movement of vehicles when necessary

Essential Skills and Experience:

Education

· High school diploma or GED.
