Primary Purpose

Moulder Operator is responsible for the set-up of the equipment. The Operator is responsible for ensuring that the best possible pieces are produce while running.

Essential Functions

  • Knowledge of all wood species at AWC
  • Knowledge of all measuring devices used
  • Basic math skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Knowledge of Moulder set-up
  • Knowledge of wood flow though the department
  • Physical capabilities such as lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, moving side to side, pull/push up to 100 lbs., using tools (pull hooks, push carts, etc.) with both hands, squatting, etc.
  • Assist other team members as needed.
  • Ensure personal appearance meets plant standards at all times.
  • Recognize and adhere to all safety policies and procedures to provide a safe environment for all.
  • Perform other tasks as directed by management and at all times uphold the CITE Principals of American Woodmark Corp.
