RPh on the Go is seeking a dedicated and experienced PRN Pharmacist to join our team for a Long Term Care facility in Hanover, Maryland. This role offers the flexibility to work on an as-needed basis, with shifts available Monday through Friday. If you're looking for a position that allows you to utilize your skills while maintaining a flexible schedule, this could be the perfect opportunity for you

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide pharmaceutical care to residents, ensuring the accurate preparation and dispensing of medications.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy and ensure the best outcomes for patients.
  • Conduct medication reviews and manage patient profiles to ensure safety and efficacy.
  • Maintain compliance with all federal and state regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures.
  • Provide counseling and education to patients and healthcare staff on medication use and best practices.
  • Support the facility's pharmacy operations during assigned shifts, ensuring continuity of care.

Schedule:

  • PRN (As Needed) : 11:00am - 7:30pm
  • Flexible shifts available Monday through Friday

Qualifications:

  • MD Pharmacist license in good standing
  • Previous Long Term Care pharmacy experience preferred, not required
  • No New Grads
  • 1+ years of pharmacy experience required
  • Must have high energy and be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Must have previous experience working with high volume prescriptions
