**Job Title: Lead Fire Alarm Technician**

**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Fire Alarm Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a team of technicians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire alarm systems in commercial and residential buildings. The Lead Fire Alarm Technician will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and standards.

**Responsibilities:**
1. Lead a team of technicians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire alarm systems.
2. Coordinate with project managers to schedule and prioritize tasks.
3. Perform site surveys to assess system requirements and propose solutions.
4. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with fire alarm systems, including wiring, control panels, and sensors.
5. Install and program new fire alarm systems according to manufacturer specifications.
6. Conduct regular inspections and testing of fire alarm systems to ensure functionality and compliance with regulations.
7. Train and mentor junior technicians on best practices and safety procedures.
8. Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including service reports and inspection records.
9. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of fire alarm systems with other building systems.
10. Stay up-to-date on industry trends, codes, and regulations related to fire alarm systems.

**Requirements:**
1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire alarm systems.
2. Strong knowledge of fire alarm codes and standards, including NFPA 72.
3. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
4. Experience leading a team of technicians and coordinating projects.
5. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
6. Ability to communicate effectively with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
7. Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
8. Certification from a recognized organization such as NICET or NFPA is preferred.
9. Physical ability to lift and carry equipment and perform tasks in various environments.
10. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
