Job DescriptionJob Description

Power Development Solutions (PDS) is looking for a full time assembly person to build our legacy products. These are primarily two products used as components in the manufacture of electron microscopes. Detailed cut lists and instructions are provided. This person needs the following skills:

  • A fundamental understanding of electrical circuits and components including wire gauges, colors and types.

  • Able to follow wire cut list in order to cut wire to correct length, color, and with proper terminations.

  • Handy with basic tools such as screwdrivers, tie-wrap gun, label maker, DIN rail cutter, vise, wrenches, crimper, wire-stripper, basic computer skills.

  • Have basic soldering skills.

  • Basic ability to speak English.

     

PDS Company Basics:

PDS is a partnership based in Hillsboro, OR and has been in business since 2010 making power controller products for the semiconductor industry. The partners have extensive experience in safety engineering, circuit design, PCB design, software design and in test and measurement.

An increase in the forecast for our legacy product orders for the coming year has prompted us to seek to supplement our existing staff. In addition, we expect a new product line with similar functionality to our existing products to begin selling this year which will put more pressure on our production capacity. Although this position does not offer many benefits, the expectation is that our expanding sales will enable PDS to offer more benefits soon.

Starting salary negotiable based upon experience.
