Job Overview

The company is seeking an Internal Commercial Project Manager who is a self-starter with an interest in wireless technology to assist our Office, Outside Sales teams. The successful project manager will collaborate with key players in various teams to ensure the successful completion of the entire sales process on all projects from prospecting/quoting to production and order fulfillment.

The ability to multi-task, while maintaining complex schedules and managing administrative sales support, is essential in this position. The ideal candidate for this job is a great problem solver, extremely organized, have excellent time management skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional groups within the company. The ideal candidate should also have extensive use and experience with Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint. Major plus would be individual that has a detailed understanding of RF and high degree of technical acumen. Assuring a steady completion of workload in a timely manner is key to success in this position.

Responsibilities

  • Project Manage the following
    • Be the first point of contact for incoming technical and sales calls/email/website inquiries. Document and classify in Salesforce.com
    • Treat each inquiry as a project. Document needs in Salesforce.com, provide technical guidance (as knowledge progresses), co-ordinate internal resources for rapid feedback to customer
    • Create Quotes in Salesforce/CPQ.com after product training
    • Ensure timely feedback to reps and G-Way business partners
    • Order Processing
      • Cross Check all purchase order details with quotations, customer classifications and conformity with engineering specs
      • Prepare online and offline production folder to enable production with no more than a 1 week lead time
      • Maintain a variety of electronic documents files and databases for the purpose of providing up-to-date information and/or historical reference.
      • Processing orders while ensuring accuracy of key fields, ensuring real-time synchronicity with the accounting function, cross checking all details with sales.
      • Generate weekly management reports

 

  • Based on demand, use requisition module in inventory system to re-order goods and liase with vendors
  • Assist engineering and production teams with spec updates and creation for DAS & Military
  • Assist in filfillment process by creating shipping labels and sending them to customers.
  • Assist in the forecasting of inventory and production capacity needs.
  • Particpate in providing data and input for marketing campaigns, salesforce data integrity

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Sales, Project Management, Business Administration or similar.
  • 5+ years in Administrative, Sales, Project Management and/or Engineering support.
  • High Proficiency with MS Office applications, Salesforce.com and Google Docs.
  • Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Professional, punctual, and a team player.
  • Experience with Access preferred but not required.
  • Advanced MS Office skills with Excel and Powerpoint (look ups, pivot tables, graphs, tables, embedding in .pptx)
  • A positive, friendly but concise telephone manner is essential.
  • Some off-site travel may be required for trade shows, customer visits, and rep territory road shows.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work well with cross-functional teams.
