Assembly Technician

We are currently looking for Assembly Technicians for a Global Manufacturer of electronic vehicle charging stations. This is a temp to hire position with an opportunity to grow within the company.
Monday thru Thursday 7am-430p and Friday 7am-11am
NO WEEKENDS
Responsibilities:
- Reviews work orders
- Verifies correct raw materials are provided to execute work orders
- Assembles Electric Vehicle Charging Stations
- Constructs electrical and structural subassemblies
- Verifies subassemblies conform to schematics
- Accounts for all components
- Builds final assembly from subassemblies
- Performs inventory of component parts; finished goods; consumables; tooling and equipment
- Packages finished goods
- Ensures component information such as serial numbers and sim card data is compiled
- Documents work and participates in time/work studies
- Logs any scrap generated during assembly; logs any non-conforming components
- Notifies management of any upset conditions
- Notifies logistics personnel when work order is complete
- Logs work orders
Requirements:
- Computer experience desired. ERP experience is a plus
- Experience in manufacturing/assembly desired
- Electrical schematic experience is a plus
Physical
o Ability to lift 50 lbs
o Color acuity
o Ability to stand for prolonged periods
