Position: Survey Crew Chief

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Survey Crew Chief to join our dynamic team. As a Survey Crew Chief at Forefront Surveying and Engineering, you will play a critical role in conducting fieldwork for various survey projects and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Performing field work for topography, boundary, and ALTA/NSPS surveys.

Conducting construction layout tasks.

Reading and interpreting construction plans.

Completing survey computations accurately.

Processing field work and maintaining clear and detailed field notes.

Proficiency in using Trimble surveying equipment.

Training and mentoring staff.

Maintaining survey equipment and ensuring it is in good working condition.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.

2+ years of surveying experience as a crew/party chief or 5+ years of experience as an instrument operator.

Valid driver’s license.

Experience with Trimble surveying equipment.
