Job Title: Mortgage Associate
Location: Hopkins, MN 55343 (ON SITE)
Pay Rate: $15 - 15.90/hour on W2.
Job Type: 6+ Months Contract role (Possibility of Extension)
Shift: Monday-Friday 8 AM – 5 PM
Job Description:
Performs routine clerical or job data entry functions within mortgage operations or servicing departments.
Sorts and files correspondence, loan documents and other records in alphabetic or numerical order or according to a specific loan.
Retrieves archived files.
Processes paperwork, gathers and verifies data and transfers data into a standard format.
Generates correspondence and routine reports, answers incoming telephone calls, responds to routine customer inquiries, and performs a variety of clerical duties.
Accept, review, verify and process collateral packages for Mortgage Warehouse customers to secure warehouse lines of credit.
Input Data of collateral on the tracking system.
File new and ship shipped collateral and retrieve collateral for shipping to investors.
Review, research and clear exceptions.
Preferred 2 to 3 years banking and/or mortgage banking experience.
Proven ability to work in a high-pressure deadline environment.
Typing or data entry skills and proficiency in Word and Excel.
We will provide training on the ProMerit system.
General knowledge of loan processing.
Demonstrated teamwork experience.
