Kansas Paving is now hiring for an experienced Truck Shop Supervisor / Foreman that is not afraid to get their hands dirty.

This person will work directly with other Mechanics in the shop. Must have experience supervising people and delegating tasks.

Must have experience in Diesel trucks, heavy construction equipment, semi trucks, tractors, and trailers.

This person will need to coordinate with the evening Assistant Shop Supervisor for delegation of tasks and priorities for all mechanics.

THIS IS A HANDS ON, WORKING supervisor position. Our mechanics work on heavy duty diesel trucks, mixer trucks, heavy duty equipment and more.

Experience with cement mixers is extremely helpful

Job Duties:

· Delegates Tasks;

· Ensures repair order tasks are completed;

· Troubleshoots problems;

· Collaborates with Shop Supervisor;

· Ensures Mechanics are on task;

· Helps mechanics with repairs as needed;

· Coordinates with Parts Department;

· Helps to coordinate field mechanic(s);

· Works with Shop Administrator on paperwork and work orders;

· Other job functions as deemed necessary.

A typical work week will be 10-12 hour days Monday thru Friday with every other Saturday (possible).
