Job DescriptionJob Description

The Bilingual Forklift Operator/Warehouse position requires a skilled individual with experience in distribution center operations, materials handling, and forklift operation. The ideal candidate should have a background in warehouse management, including experience with order picking, and warehouse systems. Additionally, knowledge of OSHA regulations, and mechanical aptitude are essential for success in this role. The position also involves responsibilities related to shipping, receiving, and order picking. Strong communication skills and bilingual proficiency are key to interacting with customers effectively.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Complete warehouse tasks including delivery loading, unloading, sorting, picking, stocking, staging of inventory.
  • Load and unload materials to and from designated storage areas, such as racks, shelves, or vehicles.
  • Compare and reconcile system inventory levels against the physical count of stock.
  • Maintain condition of work area (i.e. free of trash, product in correct location, etc.).
  • Follow Company safety policies and procedures and encourage other associates to do the same.
  • Receive and fill inventory orders for customers.
  • Operate forklifts or other machinery to complete tasks.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Forklift experience
  • Diligent attention to safety and detail
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Bilingual

Steel toe boots prefered not required
