Pride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our client’s medical facility based in Bethel, Connecticut. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization

Responsibilities:

  • Provide patient care, clinical summary, and direction on next steps or follow-up.
  • Act as a member of the care team, including preparing patients to be seen by collecting and recording clinical information as per protocol.
  • Document all patient interactions and other clinical activities accurately and promptly in the electronic health record (EHR)
  • Monitor task buckets to respond to tasks promptly, follow up on overdue orders/worklists, and monitor the status of critical referrals

Qualifications:

  • Certified Medical Assistant required.
  • Completion of a Medical Assistant training program required.

Additional Information:

  • Location: Bethel, Connecticut
  • Job Type: contract to hire.
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday – 07:30 am to 05:30 pm
  • Pay Range: $17.00 to 23.00/hour.

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
