Looking for a full time position that starts in the mornings, so that you can enjoy your sunny afternoons, evenings and weekends?
Can you be transparent yet personable at the same time?
We are looking for dependability and someone with a knack for cleaning a medical facility around visitors.

The ideal candidate will be energetic and highly motivated, detailed oriented, flexible and willing to take charge and work independently, as needed. This Day Porter is responsible for providing exceptional janitorial service coverage during business hours by performing client defined cleaning, restocking and organizing, along with special projects as needed. During certain seasons, you may need to clear walkways leading up to the building. Our ideal Porter is someone who will take pride in keeping the building beautiful, clean, and comfortable for all visitors.

Day Porter Duties and Responsibilities

Ensure that the janitorial commitments to our clients are met by performing stellar, general cleaning including but not limited to:

  • Maintain cleanliness throughout medical facilty
  • Spot mop floors and place caution signs
  • Vacuum rugs
  • Wipe down window glass and elevator surfaces
  • Dust fixtures, countertops, and other surfaces
  • Empty trash
  • Service restroom; replenishing stock of consumables
  • Perform wipe down of cafeteria, lobby, waiting areas, etc.

  • Must be able to pass background check and attain a non-employee CCF badge (Flu shot, Tb test)
  • Reliable mode of transportation is required
  • 1+ years janitorial type experience preferred in housekeeping, office cleaning, medical, bank, manufacturing, kitchen cleaning, etc.
  • General knowledge of cleaning products, cleaning tools and best cleaning practices
  • Willingness to maintain confidentiality
  • Willingness to be flexible; work shifts as assigned
  • Ability to work well with minimal supervision
  • Capability to take direction
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Physically capable of lifting and moving objects up to 50 pounds as necessary
  • High school diploma/GED preferred
