Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Title: Assembler

Shift: Monday thru Friday, 7am to 3:30pm

- Must be able to sit for long periods of time while doing assembly work.

- Temperature controlled production facility.

- Light lifting required

The Assembler ensures that the product is assembled and packaged in accordance with customer policies.

Primary :

*Assembling product in a way to avoid rejections from customers by paying attention to all areas
involved, whether large or small; by finding problems, identifying possible causes, and suggesting
alternative solutions; and by assembling in accordance with standard operating procedures
*Use and monitor production tooling and equipment efficiently to prevent situations that could result
in costly damage to the tools or result in lost production
*Inspect work and alert the supervisor of any issues in a timely manner. Complete documentation to
verify quality processes/inspection, if applicable
*Provide backup for warehouse and inventory control when needed
*Package product in accordance with policies or prepare the product when finished for the shipping
department
*Perform diverse tasks when the demand for assembly product is low. Tasks may include deburring,
tumbling, parts washing, etc.
*Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times

Physical demands:

- Able to sit during assembly work, must be comfortable sitting for long periods of time.

- Employee is also required to stand, walk, push, pull, reach, carry, and lift parts from the floor to above the
head.

- Must be able to lift up 20 to 50 pounds occasionally.

- Must be able to exert 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently

- Must be able to move objects, tools, equipment and cleaning material.

- Must be able to Visually Inspect to read measuring devices, machine gauges, drawings, travelers, notes,
and equipment instruments.

Working conditions:

- Must wear safety equipment.

- Employee is subject to high noise levels from working near and/or on operating machines; physical
hazards from moving equipment and machine parts; breathing fumes, dust and mist; skin exposure to
oils, cleaning and cutting fluids.

*Ability to acquire, retain, and apply job

*Ability to be a self
-starter and work without continuous supervision or assistance
*Ability to work as a team member
*Ability to assemble parts within a specific timeframe to meet production standards
