Job Title: Medical Assistant

Location: Bellingham, Everett, La Conner, Anacortes, Seattle, WA

Duration: 4 Months, Contract to Hire

Schedule: 8X5 Days/ 40 Hours/week

Pay Rate: $28/hour (W2)

 

Job Summary:

Pride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our client's hospital facility in Washington. The ideal candidate will provide administrative and clinical support, helping room and exit patients, schedule appointments, and assist with spirometry and sleep medicine paperwork.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Room and exit patients for the assigned provider.
  • Schedule follow-up appointments and ensure completion of necessary paperwork.
  • Perform spirometry tests.
  • Assist with sleep medicine paperwork as required.
  • Help colleagues when workload allows.
  • Flexibility and teamwork are essential.

 

Preferred Experience:

  • Pulmonary or sleep medicine experience is a plus, but not required.

 

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Completion of a Medical Assistant training program required.
  • Washington state Certified or Registered Medical Assistant.
  • BLS certification is required.
