What You’ll Do:

• Create Accurate Cost Estimates: As an Aerospace Estimator, you’ll be at the forefront of the business. Your expertise will drive the company's success by providing precise cost estimates for exciting aerospace projects.
• Collaborate with Experts: Work closely with the Estimating and Sales departments. Your insights will shape the competitive edge and help secure new business.

Job Function:

• Analyze engineering drawings, BOMs, and specifications to understand project requirements.
• Research and calculate costs for materials, labor, and outside services.
• Estimate project duration based on aerospace manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with vendors and departments for competitive quotes.
• Prepare clear cost estimates within deadlines.
• Utilize CAD software for part analysis.
• Communicate with customers and internal teams.
• Assist with job quoting and bid strategy.
• Periodic walk-throughs of manufacturing areas.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Strong understanding of metalworking and machining.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical documents.
• Excellent math skills.
• Independent worker with great communication skills.
• Familiarity with ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
• Model-Based Definition (MBD) interpretation capability.
