Accountant needed by a stable, established, and growing manufacturer in Jasper, Georgia.

This Accountant will work with the CFO on the following duties:

  • Full Cycle Accounts Payable
  • Billing and business-to-business collection efforts as needed
  • Month-end close process including journal entries for accruals, prepaids, and inventory
  • Account reconciliations including bank, credit card and sub-ledgers
  • Payroll and Human resource paperwork needs for outsourced Payroll and related benefits administration
  • Prepare Excel spreadsheets and analyses as needed by the CFO for special projects or tax preparation.

Required:

  • Accounting degree strongly preferred
  • QuickBooks experience is a must
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • 2+ years of full-cycle accounting experience
  • Inventory/Manufacturing experience is strongly preferred
  • Payroll experience is strongly preferred
