Role Specifics
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Junior IT Technician to join our IT team. This role is critical in maintaining, diagnosing, and troubleshooting a variety of IT equipment and systems within a mixed Mac / PC environment. The successful candidate will work closely with ORACLE NETSUITE, FreeNAS servers, cPanel/WHM, CCTV systems, Shopify stores, SonicWall & Ubiquiti networking hardware, and more.
Required Knowledge and Skills
- Preferred: 4-year degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
- Strong understanding of MacOS and Windows operating systems; Linux knowledge is a bonus.
- Experience with cloud-based ERP systems, networking, server management, and network security tools.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail.
- Coding experience or familiarity with e-commerce platforms like Shopify is advantageous.
Job Duties
- Maintain, diagnose, and troubleshoot IT hardware and software issues.
- Assist in IT projects, manage hardware/software inventory, and provide end-user training/support.
- Ensure seamless operation of in-house and off-premise IT systems, including network security and data management.
Location and Schedule
- Location: On-site in Oviedo, FL.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM. Availability for occasional after-hours support is preferred.
