Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Rotomold Operator to join our manufacturing team, specializing in the production of pharmaceutical products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining rotational molding machinery to produce high-quality plastic components used in pharmaceutical applications.

Pay: $21-$23/hour

Hours: 3rd shift

Location: Fountain, CO

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate rotomolding machines to manufacture pharmaceutical plastic components according to precise specifications. This includes setting up machines, loading materials, and adjusting settings as needed.
  • Monitor the molding process to ensure that all parts meet stringent quality and regulatory standards. Make adjustments to temperature, time, and other variables as required to ensure compliance.
  • Inspect finished components for defects and perform thorough quality checks. Ensure that all products meet industry standards and regulatory requirements for pharmaceutical use.
  • Perform routine maintenance on rotomolding machines, including cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs. Report any significant issues to the maintenance team promptly.
  • Load and unload raw materials and finished components. Ensure proper storage and handling of materials to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with pharmaceutical regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of production runs, including machine settings, material usage, and any deviations from standard processes. Ensure all documentation meets regulatory requirements.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Report any unsafe conditions or incidents immediately.
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other relevant guidelines to ensure that all production activities comply with industry regulations and standards for pharmaceutical products.
  • Participate in training sessions and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing process efficiency and product quality.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Technical training or certification in manufacturing processes, particularly in pharmaceutical manufacturing, is a plus.
  • Previous experience as a rotomold operator or in a similar manufacturing role is preferred. Experience with rotational molding machinery and knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing requirements is highly desirable.
  • Skills:
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Proficiency in using measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality, compliant products.
  • Basic computer skills for recording data and adjusting machine settings.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to [weight] pounds, stand for extended periods, and work in a controlled manufacturing environment with exposure to noise and temperature variations.
