Job Description: We are currently seeking a Full-Time Veterinary Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our veterinary staff and ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic.

Responsibilities:

Patient Care:Assist veterinarians with examinations, treatments, and surgical procedures.
Monitor and care for hospitalized patients.
Administer medications and treatments as directed by the veterinary team.

Client Interaction:Greet and assist clients with a friendly and professional demeanor.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns.
Educate clients on basic pet care and preventive health measures.

Communication:Communicate effectively with the veterinary team to ensure coordinated patient care.
Update clients on the status of their pets and provide post-treatment care instructions.
Maintain clear and accurate records of patient information.

Team Collaboration:Work collaboratively with veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and other support staff.
Contribute to a positive and respectful team environment.
Assist colleagues during busy periods and contribute to a seamless workflow.

Facility Maintenance:Ensure cleanliness and organization in treatment areas and examination rooms.
Stock and maintain inventory of veterinary supplies.
Assist with routine cleaning and maintenance tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
  • Previous experience in a veterinary setting is preferred.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or hospital is preferred.
